Whether you’re bedding down in a Scottish bothy or wild camping in the fells of the Lake District, the Tensor Insulated is a lightweight camping mat with a tiny pack size that doesn’t skimp on sleep quality. It boasts an impressive three inches of stable, cushioned loft, using unique baffles designed to stop your hips and shoulders from digging into the ground. Upgraded thermal insulation has boosted the mat’s R-value from 3.5 to 4.2, making it an even warmer all-season companion. The fabric is now 100% recycled polyester for eco-conscious comfort. A micro-adjustable valve sits flush to the mat, so it won’t get in the way, but makes it easy to tweak inflation for tailored comfort. The easy-to-use pump sack also saves your breath and stops moisture from getting into the mat, which will extend its life

The idea of NEMO was born one turbulent night on the side of Mount Washington while Cam Brensinger spent a sleepless five hours in a poorly designed bivy. That night he realised how much opportunity there was for thoughtful design as part of the equation of enjoying adventure. And, coming down off the mountain the next day, he resolved to tackle that challenge. Three days after graduation from Rhode Island School of Design, he founded NEMO Equipment.
