Down sleeping bag for camping through spring, summer and autumn
When NEMO worked out that seventy percent of people sleep on their side, they decided to take sleeping bag design back to the drawing board. Abandoning the restrictive shape of traditional mummy bags, they created the Disco, a down bag with a contoured, spoon-shaped cut. This gives more room for a better night’s sleep. A lofty 300g of premium, responsibly-sourced down ensures warmth down to -1°c, cutting weight and pack size while staying true to NEMO’s sustainable ethos. Look closely and you’ll spot further unique design features, like zipped gills to help regulate temperature, a blanket fold under the chin for tucked-in comfort, and a moisture-resistant footbox.

The idea of NEMO was born one turbulent night on the side of Mount Washington while Cam Brensinger spent a sleepless five hours in a poorly designed bivy. That night he realised how much opportunity there was for thoughtful design as part of the equation of enjoying adventure. And, coming down off the mountain the next day, he resolved to tackle that challenge. Three days after graduation from Rhode Island School of Design, he founded NEMO Equipment.
