Just when we started getting sick of loungewear but couldn’t quite let its supreme levels of comfort go, in stroll these straight-leg trousers. They look like classic, slim-fit cotton trousers, the sort you can wear with anything and which form the foundation of a week of outfits, but with much more comfort. Made from Duer’s signature No Sweat fabric, there’s stretch for easy movement, cotton for a natural look and Tencel which, as well as being soft as pyjamas to the touch, is also anti-bacterial and moisture-wicking. It’s derived from eucalyptus trees, which koalas love, and we do too, even if they’re for slightly different reasons

DUER set up shop in 2013 intent on bridging the gap between fashion and functional clothing. With 25 years making jeans for big names like Levi Strauss and a new love of cycling, Gary Lenett saw an opportunity for purposeful fashion that didn’t exist on the market. He partnered with Abid Hafeez, a performance fabric expert with over 25 years of experience with technical brands, and DUER was born. Today, all of their garments are manufactured in a factory in Lahore, Pakistan owned by DUER’s founders, who ensure ethical working conditions for their employees.
